The new Code of Conduct for Psychologists changes the way we practise and supervise. As a Board Approved Supervisor, you are responsible not only for your own alignment with the Code, but also for guiding provisionals and registrars to embed these standards into their work.

This exclusive 8-week, small group facilitated discussion series is designed specifically for supervisors. Together, we will tackle one key theme each week, unpack what the Code requires, and apply it to complex case studies relevant to supervisory practice.

What to Expect

  • Supervisor-only groups, capped at 24 participants for rich discussion
  • 8 live 60-minute sessions, designed to fit into your week without overload
  • Case-based exploration, grounded in real-world scenarios you’re likely to encounter as a supervisor
  • A peer-learning environment where experienced psychologists can debate, reflect, and refine their approach under the new Code
  • Practical insights to take directly into your supervision conversations

Format of Each Session

  1. Theme overview.  Brief and practical explanation of what the Code says and how it shifts expectations.
  2. Facilitated discussion.  Space to reflect with fellow supervisors on challenges, grey areas, and real-world implications.
  3. Case study application. Walk through a nuanced scenario, considering how you would guide a supervisee.
