Biography – Natalie Miller

Natalie enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and older adults. She has experience with individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, relationship issues, trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and substance misuse. She has worked in both the private and government sector, such as non-profit organisations and Queensland Correctional Services.

Natalie aims to create a warm and safe environment in which to establish strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. She works to help clients understand their emotions, thoughts, and behavioural patterns, and develop management strategies. She uses various therapeutic approaches to inform treatment, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
